Among Us is set to get a host of new features and updates, including a Friend’s List to keep in contact with the friends and enemies you make in-game, according to an Among Us 2022 Roadmap blog post.
“Our main priority at the moment are a Friend’s List and quality of life improvements,” says the post. The team at Innersloth is also planning to streamline the user experience by implementing quality-of-life updates throughout the year to address some of the more confusing aspects of the game, namely in areas like account creation, Cosmicube redemption, chat choice, and more.
The accompanying blog post image details more of the development team’s 2022 plans, which promise more roles, more players, more cubes, a Hide ‘n’ Seek mode, more partner collaborations, and the release of long awaited fifth map.
But it’s not all technical fixes and new features. The team has also announced a new set of Ghostface cosmetics inspired by the Scream movie franchise. There aren’t any details yet, save for a Twitter teaser.

For fans of collectibles and merchandise, Innersloth is now taking pre-orders for Among Us Nendoroid figures, and there will be a one-shot manga feature released in Bessatsu Corocoro magazine sometime in April 2022.
First announced last month, there has yet to be an update on Among Us VR, but the blog post teases that information for this and other Among Us-related news are “on the horizon.”
