The Overwatch 2 Season 3 update is finally upon us and there’s actually quite a lot to look forward to when it comes to this hero shooter’s latest content drop. We know ahead of time that Overwatch 2 Season 3 teases a new control map, Peninsula, but there are also some major improvements to this game’s progression and rewards systems. However, if you’re looking to bag yourself some rewards without the need to grind, you’ll be pleased to know that the Overwatch 2 Season 3 Twitch Drops are starting today and there’s a free Ashe skin in it for you – among other things.

This season, Blizzard is implementing the Overwatch 2 Season 3 Twitch Drops in three waves; so, there’s going to be three sets of rewards to earn if you have your Battle Net account linked up to your Twitch account. You can find an FAQ on Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops right here, but we have all the information you need to know below.

In Wave One of the Overwatch 2 Season 3 Twitch Drops campaign, players will be able to earn the Seven of Spades spray (featuring Bob) by watching two hours of Overwatch 2. Players watching an additional four hours will be able to earn the legendary Socialite skin for Ashe.

For Wave Two, players will need to watch two hours of Overwatch 2 content to earn the Poster spray for Reinhardt. This is followed by the Crusader Helm weapon charm, when you watch four more hours of Overwatch 2 content on Twitch.

In Wave Three, the Overwatch 2 Season 3 Twitch Drops campaign is offering players the chance to earn the Commando Spray for Reaper after watching two hours of Overwatch 2 content on Twitch and the Blackwatch Logo weapon charm after watching for an additional four hours.

We know that sounds like a lot of Overwatch 2 on Twitch, but it’s not as bad as you might think. Wave One starts on February 7 and will run until February 21. Then, Wave Two kicks off on February 28 and will be available until March 14. Finally, Wave Three begins on March 21 and will be available until April 4.

If you want to find out more about the Overwatch 2 Season 3 roadmap and where this fits in, you can here. However, the long and short of it all is that you should check into Twitch every so-often if you want some free cosmetics. They’re not the best, but a free legendary skin never hurt anyone; so, if you don’t have it, you should definitely look at earning it.

Overwatch 2 has potential to be one of the best competitive FPS games out there, but it has a long way to go yet. However, Season 3 is a good start and we can’t wait to see where this game ends up.
