Player First Games’ free-to-play brawler MultiVersus is one of the best fighting games out there right now and it’s clear that this isn’t going to change anytime soon with the announcement that Gremlins’ Stripe is going to be one of the new MultiVersus characters alongside Gizmo, Rick, Morty, and Black Adam. We know that’s a lot of fighters to get to grips with, but if you’re looking forward to seeing another Gremlin in-game, we have everything you need to know about the MultiVersus Stripe release date right here.
If you’re wondering who Stripe is, allow us to explain. Stripe, who’s also referred to as Mohawk, is essentially the main antagonist of the Gremlins franchise – other than water, of course. He’s in charge of the original batch of Gremlins, a sadistic yet intelligent trickster, and an all-round rabble rouser. So, if you want to cause some chaos, you’re going to want to know when the MultiVersus Stripe release date is.
With that in mind, while you’re learning some new MultiVersus Gizmo combos, you can check out everything we know about when he’s dropping below.
MultiVersus Stripe release date rumours
We hate to break this to you, but at the moment, there’s no information on when the Stripe release date for MultiVersus is. However, we do have a very loose release window to talk about.
At the moment, we’re still under the impression that Stripe is going to be a MultiVersus Season 1 fighter when he eventually releases – and Season 1 is due to end on November 15. When you couple this with the fact that DC Comics’ Black Adam movie is set to release on October 21 (with Black Adam being the other Season 1 fighter we’re still waiting for alongside Rick from Rick and Morty), we could see Stripe release at some point between October 21 and November 15. However, don’t quote us on that.
MultiVersus Stripe class and gameplay
As you might expect, we don’t really have a lot of information on what Stripe’s MultiVersus class is going to be and what his gameplay is going to look like. However, we think Stripe could fit into the Assassin fighter archetype.
However, we won’t be able to confirm anything until Player First Games updates us on what’s coming to MultiVersus next. For now, why not check out our up-to-date MultiVersus tier list – there’s always a reason to try a new fighter in this game.
