This Elden Ring competition will make you a lord, but your realm will be tiny

Become an Elden Ring lord or lady by winning an Elden Ring competition that will give 100 lucky winners a piece of land in Scotland

Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco has announced that fans in the UK will be able to participate in a competition starting February 25 that will allow them to become an “Elden Lord or Lady”.

In a collaboration with Highland Titles, Bandai Namco is offering plots of land in Scotland to 100 of the competition winners that grants them the ability to officially designate themselves a lord or lady of that segment of the country.

To take part, you need to email Bandai Namco at [email protected] outlining a reason, or sharing a photo or video, that explains why you deserve to be given the title of lord or lady. The competition will start at 9 AM GMT February 25, the day Elden Ring releases, and run until 9 AM GMT on March 11. If you’re successful, you’ll walk away with a bonny slice of Scotland and a title fit for the finest of Elden Ring boss slayers.

This all sounds great, until you realise that the piece of land you will be granted if you win is only one square foot in area and costs just £36 to buy. You will receive an official certificate though, if that’s any consolation.

Oh, and before you get any wacky ideas about building a home that’s very tall but very thin to survive the dystopian nightmare in which we all live, the plot of land is located on a nature reserve, which means you can look but not touch.
