Deal of the week: save up to 52% on Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to dig into the world of Assassins Creed Valhalla, you might want to pay attention. Ubisoft has slashed the prices of the game on all major platforms over on Amazon, giving you the chance to experience the British Isles with Eivor Varinsdottir sooner rather than later.

Readers in the US can currently save up to 52% on the game for their chosen console, which is probably one of the best savings we’ve seen on the game since its launch in November 2020. These savings include both old and current gen and include free upgrades if you are planning on buying an Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5 soon.

The deal is only available on the standard edition, so while you’ll be able to take advantage of Ubisoft’s free updates over time, only the base game is on offer here. Valhalla’s two expansions, Wrath of the Druids, which takes Eivor to Ireland, and The Siege of Paris, which focuses on the most ambitious battle in Viking history, will need to be purchased separately.

Even without the expansions, this is a cracking deal. The PS4 game, which is $29.88 (down from $59.99) comes with a free PS5 upgrade, and the PS5 and Xbox editions are available at $28.88 and $29.88 respectively.

So if you’ve been looking for a sign to pick up a new game, this is it – take the plunge.
