CS:GO’s creator set to reveal new MMO shooter

Gooseman will reveal all at G-Star 2019.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

The man behind Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is set to release a new MMO-style shooter next week, according to a report by Rock Paper Shotgun. Minh Le, also known as Gooseman, the co-creator of the Counter-Strike Half Life mod, will be unveiling Plan 8 during Pearl Abyss Connect at G-Star 2019.

Le has been quietly working with Korean developer Pearl Abyss for a while now, and although we don’t know much about the game yet, Rock Paper Shotgun says players will be zipped into exo suits for the new shooter.

The Black Desert Online developers are also working on another two games called DokeV and Crimson Desert. DokeV is described as a collectable MMORPG for all ages, while Crimson Desert is an open-world fantasy MMOPRG, although we’re unsure at the moment if it has any links to Black Desert Online.

If you’re interested in seeing what Gooseman has cooked up you can watch the reveal of the new game on the G-Star stream here, which kicks off at 1PM KST on November 14. That’s 7PM PDT or 1PM EST on November 13 for those of you in America, or 4AM GMT on November 14 for those of you in UK.
