If you’re a huge fan of real-time strategy games, but you’re not someone with a powerful PC, the gaming landscape has been looking pretty bleak for a long time. However, that’s about to change. Following the successful launch of Deep Silver’s Iron Harvest on consoles (following on from it’s PC launch by about eight weeks), Sega has announced that Relic Entertainment’s incredible Company of Heroes 3 is going to be launching on both Xbox Series X|S and PS5 in a matter of weeks.

Yes, you’re reading that right. Sega is finally bringing the award-winning Company of Heroes franchise to consoles with CoH3. This will be the first game in the series to make the jump from PC and offer players a rare chance to play a triple-A RTS game on their consoles.

In a press release, which you can read by following the link, Sega has confirmed that Company of Heroes 3 Console Edition is coming to current-gen consoles on May 30th – both physically and digitally – with a fully custom UI interface and full controller support.

It’s also going to launch with almost all the features the PC version has, including Full Tactical Pause, a single-player narrative campaign, co-op modes, and competitive multiplayer. If you want to know what you’re getting into, check out the trailer below – and expect to see some more console-specific videos from Relic Entertainment in the coming weeks.

This is easily one of the best Strategy games out there right now and now it’s on-course to become one of the best Xbox Strategy games out there, too (and one of the best on PS5, of course).
