If you’re wondering why you should care about any upcoming battle passes for Warzone 2, you’re probably not alone. However, these are going to be a great way of getting new weapon blueprints for all the Warzone 2 weapons and guns, operator skins, and (we’re expecting them to be a great way to get Double XP Tokens). But, anyway, onto the details.

Warzone 2 battle pass release date

The Warzone 2 battle pass will release on November 16 alongside the Warzone 2 release date itself. This was confirmed by Infinity Ward alongside details of what to expect in the mode.

As with previous games, the battle pass will be interlinked with the regular Call of Duty game.

Warzone 2 battle pass cost

The Warzone 2 battle pass cost is not known yet. However, we can assume it will be the same price as Warzone. In Warzone the battle pass cost 1,000 COD Points or $9.99/£8.50.

On top of the regular battle pass, we don’t yet know if the Battle Pass Bundles will be available, which offer additional items and unlocks, as well as some tier skips. These usually cost 2,400 COD Points or $19.99/£16.49.

Warzone 2 battle pass details

The battle pass for Warzone will have both free and premium rewards. However, beyond that core structure, the battle pass will offer players more “choices and more agency than ever before” according to Activision.

Instead of a linear stream of items, the battle pass now forms a multi-sector map. Players unlock items using earned Battle Token Tier Skips across the map with five items in each sector for a total of 20. You can then unlock each sector and a host of rewards within it.

A guide closer to the release of the mode will go into more detail about how this works. But, we can expect all the regular items like weapons, calling cards, cosmetics, and more.
