It’s safe to say that Modern Warfare 2’s Knockout mode is one of the more exciting new additions to this year’s Call of Duty game. It’s a core six-versus-six multiplayer mode that you’re going to be able to play on all of this game’s standard-sized maps. However, that doesn’t mean this is going to be all about the kills – there’s a lot more to it than that.

However, you’re going to need to prepare your best assault rifles and best Modern Warfare 2 SMGs if you want to make the most of this mode. Playing Knockout is going to be a fantastic way to rank up fast and hit the max level cap in Modern Warfare 2, but you’re going to make sure you’re staying alive and knowing what’s going on to make the most of this.

Modern Warfare 2 Knockout mode explained

In Modern Warfare 2’s Knockout mode, players are going to be fighting over a bag of cash located in the middle of whichever map you’re on. Much like Search and Destroy, there aren’t any respawns in this mode. However, you can revive your teammates. So, it’s all about staying alive and playing it safe.

When you grab the bag of cash, you need to hold it until the end of the round timer or eliminate the other team to win the round. It’s a first to five rounds score limit, so there’s plenty of time to get quite a few kills. However, you’re going to want to check out the best Modern Warfare 2 settings for multiplayer before you jump in.

But, that’s all there is to it. If you want to know how to level up weapons fast, or how to unlock all the weapons in Modern Warfare 2, you can find out more here.
