Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale just keeps growing. A new in-game event is on the way – or so the leakers say – and we have everything you need to know about the Apex Legends Unshackled event release date, the associated patch notes, and all the skins you can get your hands on ahead of Apex Legends Season 13.

Apex Legends’ Flashpoint LTM, a game mode players haven’t seen since October 2020 during the Aftermarket collection event, is set to make a triumphant return during the Unshackled event – except, this time, it’s going to be available on Olympus. There’s also going to be 40 cosmetic items up for grabs from the Apex Legends Unshackled event release date – so, you won’t want to miss out on those Apex Packs.

Apex Legends Unshackled event release date

The Apex Legends Unshackled event is going to start on April 19, 2022 – according to Shrugtal, a reliable source of information when it comes to Apex Legends Unshackled event leaks.

The event is expected to run for two weeks, which fits in with rough estimations on the start of Season 13, but we can’t know for sure until official sources provide more information – something that will likely come closer to the time.

Apex Legends Unshackled event patch notes

At the moment, Respawn Entertainment has not released the Unshackled event patch notes.

Flashpoint, a returning LTM that replaces all healing items with healing zones, is expected to make a return. However, there’s no telling how Respawn Entertainment has tweaked this new game mode alongside wider updates – if it has tweaked it at all.

Apex Legends Unshackled event skins

Of the 40 cosmetic items coming to Apex Legends in the Unshackled event, there will be at least eight legend skins and four weapon skins for players to unlock.

KralRindo, an Apex Legends content creator and leaker, has revealed the four legendary skins for Wraith, Valkyrie, Pathfinder, and Crypto – you can check them out below:

Additionally, epic skins have been leaked for Fuse, Revenant, Lifeline, and Wattson – it looks like a Seer skin is also going to feature as one of the rewards in the Unshackled event reward track. KralRindo usually provides accurate information, but it’s worth taking this with a pinch of salt until we hear more from an official source.
