Call of Duty: Warzone is a classic battle royale with a fiercely competitive playerbase to boot. Getting a dub isn’t easy in Verdansk, but if you follow these tips, you should have the upper hand in battle.
Choose your drop wisely
It’s good to have a favourite drop spot, but you need to know Verdansk well enough that you can adapt and overcome if you need to go elsewhere.
Hot dropping can lead to high levels of loot, but if you’re not an aggressive player, you might end up in the Gulag a lot earlier than anticipated.
Learn to love contracts
We all love a scrap, but there’s more to Warzone than just fighting. Contracts are a great way of picking up intel in early stages of the game.
Plus they give you valuable resources, like cash or armour, that will help you along the way.
Make use of your equipment
There are lots of bits of equipment to pick up on the battlefield and they all offer something different. Just because you don’t need a Dead Silence now, doesn’t mean you won’t later.
The same goes for Trophy Systems. If you value your life, put one on your vehicle when you’re out and about.
Keep and eye out for flares
When you’re playing Warzone, keep one eye on the sky. Red flares indicate someone has just been bought back in and yellow flares indicate someone is completing a Recon contract.
Whether you decide to push or scout, flares are perfect for information gathering.
Make use of Advanced UAVs
Did you know if you use three UAVs at once, it’ll reveal the location of all enemies in real-time? Well you do now.
This killstreak is incredibly useful in the later stages of the game, especially in the final circle.
Winning Warzone games comes with time, but with these handy tips, you’ll hopefully be able to shout “Get Some!” from the rooftops soon.
