It’s important to have a steady hand and good aim in Valorant, but sometimes the right settings can make all the difference in a close game. If you want to be at your best while playing Riot Games’ tactical shooter, then you’ll need to keep a close eye on your crosshair settings – these really can make all the difference. Whether you want to use something fun like a smiley face Valorant crosshair, or something more serious, Riot Games is introducing a new feature that will allow players to import and export crosshair settings with ease following Patch 4.05.
Looking at the latest Valorant patch notes – shared on March 22 ahead of the release of Patch 4.05 – Riot Games has revealed that it has “added the ability to import and export different crosshair settings via auto-generated codes” to Valorant.
With several colours to consider alongside fiddly stats like outline boundaries and line thickness, creating a crosshair in Valorant can be finicky – even with our Valorant crosshair guide to help you out. With this new feature, finding the right crosshair settings should be a lot easier.
If a player wants to export their Valorant crosshair settings following patch 4.05, all they need to do is “click on the icon that looks like an arrow pointing up” next to their Crosshair Profile, according to the patch 4.05 patch notes. This will automatically copy an automatically-generated code to your clipboard.
If you’re looking to import someone else’s Valorant crosshair settings, all you need to do is find the arrow pointing downwards and input a generated code. This will automatically import all the relevant settings to your Crosshair Profile.
Riot Games hasn’t shared information on whether you’ll be able to change your Crosshair Profile on the fly – or if you can save a library of crosshair settings – but this could be something we see in the future. For now, though, we recommend brushing up on our Valorant tier list – it can’t hurt to keep on top of who’s at the top.
