Twitch star Disguised Toast “in talks” to sign Valorant team

Disguised Toast first showed interest in signing a Valorant side at the end of October, and has taken further steps to materialise it

Valorant Disguised Toast team in talks: Disguised Toast

Popular content creator Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has revealed that he is working to put together a brand new Valorant team. The news follows a not-so-cryptic Tweet sent by Toast at the end of October musing on the idea.

“It’s a lot of work”, Toast says in his most recent stream, “I don’t have any solid updates but we are in talks with people.”

As Halloween approached, Toast took to Twitter to gauge who the best unsigned pros in the scene currently were, noting that he was “thinking of starting a team”. The response was massive, with the likes of inactive Sentinels star Michael ‘dapr’ Gulino and 100 Thieves creator Timothy ‘iiTzTimmy’ An throwing their names into the proverbial hat.

Although it doesn’t look like there’s been a ton of movement since then, it’s clear from Toast’s statement that a lot is happening behind the scenes. As for when we can next expect to hear more from the creator, Toast says that it most likely won’t be until he has players “on a solid contract […] if it ever reaches that point”.

While we can’t wait to see what kind of roster Toast pulls together from the Valorant ranks – should it ever materialise – we’ll probably have to wait some time before another update arrives.
