Is Valheim coming to PS5 and PS4 consoles?

Gripping survival game Valheim is finally coming to consoles and players looking something new to play will find an addictive experience with Iron Gate’s procedurally generated purgatory – this game throws players into the realm before Valhalla, the ultimate resting place in Norse mythology. If you’re looking forward to playing Valheim, you’re going to want to know if Valheim is coming to PS5 and PS4 – and we have the answer for you, right here.

In Valheim, up to 10 players can explore a world with multiple biomes, multiple monsters, and more than enough crafting to go around. It may be developed by a small team, but its’ stunning visuals have won over fans and its’ gameplay is more than addictive.

The announcement that Valheim was getting a console launch was made during Microsoft’s Extended Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase on June 14. So, asking the question “is Valheim coming to PS5 and PS4” is perfectly valid. It was revealed that the game would be coming to PC Game Pass in “Fall 2022” and Xbox Game Pass in “early spring 2023”, but what about PlayStation players?

Well, we have some bad news…

Is Valheim coming to PS5 and PS4?

To put it plainly, no. Valheim is not coming to PS5 and PS4 consoles – at least not in the foreseeable future.

How do we know this? Well, during the trailer shown during the extended showcase, the term “Xbox console exclusive” was used. This doesn’t rule out a PlayStation launch, of course, but for now… It confirms that this game won’t be available on PS5 and PS4 when it launches on Xbox consoles.
