You Are Not Alone esports tournament aims to bring 10 million gamers together

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2

A global games day designed to help connect people in self isolation across the world kicks off tomorrow. The You Are Never Alone day was created by European esports and video games leaders with the aim of bringing over 10 million gamers together through a 20 hour broadcast.

While that might seem a bit much, the YANA broadcast, which will be streamed live on Facebook Gaming and Twitch from 12PM-12AM BST tomorrow (May 2), will feature 17 different events from FIFA 20 and Fortnite to Rainbow Six Siege and PUBG Mobile in the hopes that it’ll stimulate conversation between gamers and make them feel a little less isolated in these trying times.

While there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved with the show, there’ll also be some great moments to sit back and watch too. Premiership rugby players, like avid gamer Jack Nowell, are teaming up with professional esports stars in a special Fortnite event casted by Austin Healy and Ben Kay, Football Manager pros can show off their skills in the Big Win event, and League of Legends fans can play alongside Excel Esports in a best of one match.

Most of the events have some form of reward or prize, so you’ll want to check out the full line up here to see what you can get involved with.

The event will also support a range of charities providing help and support for those affected by coronavirus, so if you’re feeling generous keep an eye on the stream to find out how you can support those in need.
