Twitch launches Twitch Studio to help new streamers

The program will get you up and running in minutes.

You don’t need to look very far to find true success stories on Twitch. The rising popularity of live streaming is attracting more and more people to the platform every day, but setting up your first stream is no easy feat.

To counter the troubleshooting, Twitch has opened up its beta for Twitch Studio, which is, if you like, the platform’s entry level tool to getting new streamers up and running. Twitch Studio boasts features such as guided setup, streaming templates, and integrated alerts.

The program will detect all the relevant streaming hardware is there, that your microphone is actually on, and help you adjust more complicated things such as your resolution and bitrate. And it’ll even offer you lots of handy templates, so you can tailor the look of your stream.

To make use of Twitch Studio, which you can download here, all you need is a PC running Windows 7 or higher. It’s also compatible with capture cards.
