While streaming PUBG together yesterday, October 22, the topic of Dr DisRespect’s proposed 24 hour livestream for the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was brought up. The Doc has so far not given an exact time on his weekly stream schedule for Thursday and Friday and has instead simply listed the days as ‘Modern Warfare’. However, Shroud seems to think that his fellow streamer won’t be able to see the mammoth stream through.
“No way, you’re not gonna make it,” Shroud exclaims when hearing about the Doc’s plan. “Have you ever stayed up that long?” Despite protesting that he can blast through his current streams “like they’re nothing,” the Doc still couldn’t convince Shroud that he’d have the stamina to last an entire day. “I don’t believe it,” Shroud says, “I’ll give you 100… no, 200 gifted subs… If I see 24 hours on that uptime.”
The generous offer from Shroud shows just how confident he is that the Doc won’t last the full duration of his stream. Up until now, his longest ever stream was 13 hours long, so managing a full day will be a big jump.
Dr DisRespect has been particularly hyped for the release of the new Call of Duty title. As well as promising his first ever 24 hour stream, he has also been designing his own maps and has been planning a 2v2, cross-platform tournament that would see pros and content streamers battle it out in the game’s new Gunfight mode.
With just a couple of days to go now until Modern Warfare launches, we don’t have long to wait to see if Dr DisRespect can keep his promise and if Shroud will have to fork out.
