Nadeshot risks Twitch ban by chatting to Dr DisRespect on stream

"Are they really gonna ban me for talking to Doc in game?"

100 Thieves CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has risked getting his Twitch channel banned after breaking the platform’s terms of service by chatting with Guy ‘Dr DisRespect’ Beahm on stream.

During Vikram ‘Vikkstar’ Barn’s Warzone tournament yesterday, Nadeshot and teammate Rhys ‘Rated’ Price found themselves facing The Doc and Facebook Gaming streamer ‘ZLaner’ in the losers’ bracket. While in past tournaments streamers on Twitch have refrained from talking to Dr DisRespect – due to him being permanently banned from the platform – Nadeshot threw caution to the wind and decided to have a conversation with The Two-Time in the pre-match lobby.

Interestingly the majority of that conversation is now muted on the VOD of Nadeshot’s stream. However, a clip of the former Call of Duty pro has surfaced in which Dr DisRespect can be heard talking, with Nadeshot questioning whether Twitch would have the guts to ban him because of how long he’d been streaming on the platform.

“Are Twitch really gonna ban me for talking to Doc in game? C’mon bro,” Nadeshot says as he drops into the match. “What are they gonna do? I’ll tell you what man, they ban me? I’ve been on here since [it was called] Justin.tv. They gotta make a decision there. No respect.”

While Nadeshot’s VOD has muted the conversation prior to that clip, Dr DisRespect’s VOD of the tournament does include it. The Doc seems particularly excited to have Nadeshot on his stream.

While he has been unable to play with Twitch streamers such as Nadeshot, Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff, or Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar, Dr DisRespect has managed to find a few new playmates since moving to YouTube Gaming, such as ZLaner and even Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg.
