Brazilian streamer Alexandre ‘Gaules’ Borba has once again topped the Twitch viewership charts in November for his Counter-Strike: Global Offensive streams. For the second month in a row, Gaules is king when it comes to total hours watched. According to Esports Charts Pro, his channel has racked up over 16.2 million hours of viewership in November, and while that’s down on October’s 21.1 million, it’s still not to be sniffed at.
In second place in the hours watched standings is political streamer Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker, who notched up just over 14 million hours. Thanks to his extensive coverage of the US Presidential election last month, and a spot on the star-studded Among Us stream with congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, HasanAbi’s channel has seen massive viewership.
One of Twitch’s biggest streamers, Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, can only manage third this month with 13.2 million hours watched, but would have likely taken the top spot if it wasn’t for a seven day suspension from the platform towards the end of the month.
As well as taking the hours watched crown, Gaules also recorded the highest peak viewership of the month for an individual streamer. Just over 300,000 tuned in to his November 1 stream.
As we enter the final month of 2020, there is a very close two horse race to see who will be Twitch’s most watched streamer of the entire year. Just six million hours of watched content separate Gaules and xQc at the moment, but who will prevail come the end of the festive season?
