Variety streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has taken the crown in July as Twitch’s most watched streamer following another bumper month of viewership for the former Overwatch pro.
With over 12.3 million hours of content watched according to Esports Charts Pro, xQc claims the top spot – but only just. German poker streamer Jens ‘TheRealKnossi’ Knossalla isn’t far behind with 12.17 million hours watched last month. Alongside his regular popular poker streams, TheRealKnossi streamed himself at AngelCamp 2020 – essentially a massive IRL stream with a number of famous German faces in which they do a lot of carp fishing. Never change Twitch, never change.
Picking up the bronze medal for July is Call of Duty: Warzone streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff, who racked up over 8.3 million hours. His MFAM Gauntlet Warzone tournaments, as well as his increasingly popular regular streams, have seen him have a huge month in both viewership and subscribers as people flock to see the latest overpowered, meta-busting NICKMERCS Warzone loadout.
When it comes to the largest peak audience of the month, TheRealKnossi scoops another award after over 310,000 people tuned in to watch at one point during that marathon AngelCamp 2020.
With a new season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, Act II of Valorant, and much more on the horizon for August, it will be interesting to see if xQc can hold on to that top spot this month or whether another of Twitch’s biggest streamers will take his place.
