Twitch sensation Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa began her life in the public eye as a cosplayer, before eventually moving towards streaming variety streaming things from hot tubs to pole dancing to ASMR on Twitch. She also creates more mature-themed content on platforms such as OnlyFans, but it seems Amouranth is going to end her life in the public eye as an entrepreneur after announcing plans for her OnlyFans retirement.

Amouranth announced via a Twitter thread that she is going to be leaving OnlyFans in June. “End of an era. It’s time to stop being an e-girl cold turkey and quit OnlyFans in June. Going all out ’til then, will go out with a bang – grand finale,” she says. She continues by teasing what’s to come. “First up, I just made $350,000-$400,000 investment in content on Twitch. You are all invited, will announce at end of week.”

This news is part of a larger career pivot from the Twitch streamer, as she makes clear. “I’ve often talked about a career pivot,” Amouranth says. “But I’ve sort of been picking my spot, investing, accruing capital and deploying it when opportunities make sense. This is the first time I put considerable real time, muscle and dinero behind the efforts! I’m making a big investment in content that’s different than anything I’ve ever made. We’re moving ‘influencer’ and ‘creator economy’ into what is traditionally the domain and competency of legacy media.”

In case she wasn’t signalling her intentions to wind down her current escapades clearly enough, she has this to say: “This is only the beginning (or the beginning of the end of me disappearing from online).”

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to many who have followed Amouranths career as she has long since said that she is using Twitch and OnlyFans as a stepping stone to be able to invest more in the things she cares about. Back in 2021, the streamer bought a petrol station, and last month she invested almost $2 million in Activision Blizzard stock.

The Twitch icon is no doubt diversifying her funds in preparation for the future.

We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for what Amouranth announces later in the week. One thing’s for sure though – the hot tub meta is well and truly over.
