Valorant Champions Tour Masters Reykjavík teams confirmed

KRU Esports are the tenth and final team to book a spot on the plane to Iceland

The final piece of the puzzle has been found for this month’s Valorant Champions Tour Masters event in Reykjavík, Iceland, as the LATAM representative booked its spot at the competition.

With nine of the ten teams decided, the finalised lineup hinged on the LATAM qualifier final between LATAM North Stage 2 champions Infinity Esports and LATAM South winners KRU Esports, the organisation founded by Argentinian football star Sergio Aguero. In the LATAM final between the two teams, it was KRU that walked away victorious with a 3-1 win – including a 13-1 rout on the final map, Split – to secure themselves a spot in Iceland. The Chilean-Argentinian squad will be joining the top teams from around the world in what is Valorant’s first international LAN event since the game launched last year.

The ten teams feature two representatives from North America, two from EMEA, two from Brazil, one from Korea, one from Japan, one from Southeast Asia, and one from LATAM.

From star-studded rosters like Sentinels and Team Liquid to dark horses like South Korea’s NUTURN Gaming, there’s the potential for some incredible action in Reykjavík.
