CLG’s Broxah finally get his visa approved for the 2021 LCS season

Counter Logic Gaming has been handed a huge boost to its 2021 LCS Spring Split Playoffs hopes after the team’s starting jungler, Mads ‘Broxah’ Brock-Pedersen today finally had his visa cleared. Broxah took to Twitter to share the news.

“You’re not gonna believe it – I barely believe it – because it has finally, finally happened,” he says in a video uploaded to the platform. “My visa not only has gotten approved, I received it today.” Fellow CLG teammate Finn ‘Finn’ Wiestål also faced delays in attaining his visa due to the ongoing pandemic, though he managed to join the team last month before the LCS officially kicked off.

Now, Broxah can also finally meet his new team heading into the next weeks of play. “I feel so happy,” Broxah says, “I feel so relieved, and I’m really excited to finally be able to join my team.”

This isn’t the first time Broxah has had a difficult time securing his LCS visa. The Dane missed the first three weeks of the 2020 LCS Spring Split while on Team Liquid due to processing delays. “It has felt difficult, tough,” he notes. “It has been a rough one going through this once again, but now I’m remaining positive.”

CLG has had a difficult start to the LCS season. After six games, the team sits at the bottom of the table with a 1-5 record. Hopefully with the addition of Broxah, this finalised roster can begin to develop synergy, and make a stronger run in the Summer Split.
