Atlanta FaZe has netted itself 75 CDL points, as well as the $200,000 grand prize, following a dominant 5-2 performance against the Dallas Empire in this weekend’s Call of Duty League Stage One Major grand final.
Having made short work of both the Los Angeles Guerrillas and Dallas in the Winners Bracket, comfortably defeating both teams 3-0, Atlanta cruised its way into the tournament’s grand final. Eager for a rematch for the top prize, Dallas cleaved through the New York Subliners 3-0 in the Elimination Bracket final, setting the stage for one last showdown.
Atlanta quickly established a three-map lead over its opponent, scoring victories on Moscow Hardpoint, and Garrison in both Search and Destroy and Control. Dallas managed a strong performance on Checkmate Hardpoint, before losing 6-1 on Moscow Search and Destroy. A clean 3-0 on Raid Control showed that Dallas wasn’t willing to give up without a fight, though it couldn’t improve its Search and Destroy form quickly enough as Atlanta picked up the final victory on Raid.
With FaZe’s Valorant squad also winning this weekend’s Valorant Champions Tour Challengers 3 event, it’s not been a bad couple of days for the historic organisation.

Atlanta now heads into Stage Two at the top of the league, and will be hoping to double-up on its success when the CDL’s second stage kicks off on March 18 with the Toronto Home Series.
