London Royal Ravens has confirmed its four-man lineup for the 2021 Call of Duty League season. The team will feature three of last year’s players and will uphold its UK identity with an all-British roster.
It was already known that Scottish player Sean ‘Seany’ O’Connor would be keeping his spot on the team, but now Royal Ravens has confirmed Trie ‘Zer0’ Morris and Dylan ‘Dylan’ Henderson will also remain. The squad is rounded out by 21-year-old Alex ‘Alexx’ Carpenter, who represented Minnesota Rokkr last season.
While it was pretty common knowledge already due to their social media posts during the offseason, twin brother duo Matthew ‘Skrapz’ Marshall and Bradley ‘Wuskin’ Marshall will not be representing Royal Ravens in 2021. Wuskin in particular was one of the league’s standout players last season, but the shrinking of rosters from five players to four with the new format sees both of them lose out.
Royal Ravens exceeded expectations at the inaugural CDL Championship last season, making it to Championship Weekend and finishing fourth overall.
Almost immediately after the 2020 season concluded, fans were shocked to learn that the CDL would be reverting back to the classic 4v4 format. This has sparked a dramatic offseason, where even relatively successful teams like Royal Ravens dropped large portions of their rosters.
