Supermassive Games’ incredible horror game, The Quarry, is getting a super-massive update that introduces 80s-inspired cosmetics, all six episodes of the Bizarre Yet Bonafide podcast, and online multiplater with a game mode called Wolf Pack. This is going to completely change the way we play The Quarry – and we can’t wait to dive into it.
Want to know more about The Quarry’s Wolf Pack mode? Well, we’ll be happy to oblige. The game’s Wolf Pack mode is an invite-only experience where players can invite up to seven friends (who have access to The Quarry) to watch along with them. So, much like the local co-op mode already available in The Quarry and the multiplayer modes we’ve seen in previous Supermassive Games horror games, players will be able to vote on key decisions that completely change the narrative of the game.
If you think this sounds like a good idea – and you’re ready to take on the horrors that await you in Hackett’s Quarry Summer Camp with your friends, you’ll be pleased to know that the update with Wolf Pack mode is out for The Quarry right now!
As mentioned above, this isn’t the only bit of new content coming to The Quarry today. Supermassive Games’ latest title update is also introducing all six parts of the Bizarre Yet Bonafide podcast to the game’s menu.
Previously only available on select streaming platforms, this fictional podcast is all about a couple of amateur paranormal investigators as they discuss all the strange happenings around Hackett’s Quarry – where the game is set. It might contain spoilers (so, be careful when you start listening), but it’s a great way to get clued up on anything you may have missed during your initial playthroughs.
In addition to this, a DLC pack featuring 80s-inspired outfits for all seven counsellors, including Laura and Max, is also finally releasing. If you own the Deluxe Edition of The Quarry, you can get it for free – everyone else can pick it up as paid DLC from whichever digital storefront they’re using.
