The Last of Us is not only one of the finest games ever made, but its ongoing silver screen adaptation is fast-becoming one of the most popular shows on TV too, despite requiring a paid subscription to watch. To offer potential viewers a chance to sample the series before coughing up their hard earned cash, the first episode is being made available for free on YouTube, Courtesy of Sky and NOW TV in the UK.
According to a press release, the first episode of the dramatic retelling of one of the best PS5 games out there – which you can check out here – is the second-biggest US drama debut on Sky Atlantic, beating out even Game of Thrones.
For those eagle-eyed fans out there who are hoping to hop in and watch, be sure to keep those eyes-peeled for easter eggs referencing the game that are strategically placed throughout. Episode two even gives a nod to another game from The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog.
