EwOk announces she’s leaving Twitch to stream on Mixer

The teenager is the latest gamer to move to another streaming platform.

FaZe Clan streamer Soleil ‘EwOk’ Wheeler has announced that she’s moving to Mixer. The teenager, who became the first deaf Twitch partner, will join the likes of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevin and Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek on the Microsoft-owned platform.

The 14-year-old, who signed with FaZe Clan last year, tweeted an artistic teaser out last night (November 13), but has since released the longer-version of the video, confirming the move. The announcement shoot shows EwOk painting two chevrons on a white wall in blue and pink, before mixing the two colours together to make paint a circle in Twitch purple.

EwOk owes her rise on Twitch to Timothy ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar, who hosted the youngster, following a long stream last year. She predominantly plays Fortnite and uses a sound visualiser to hear in-game sounds.

The Fortnite fanatic is the latest streamer to leave Twitch, following Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop out the door. Although CouRage moved to YouTube Gaming, EwOk decided to go with Mixer – although it’s unsure how much the deal is worth.

EwOk hasn’t posted any details about her new streaming gig, other than her account profile, but expect to see some Fortnite streams – maybe even with Ninja – in the near future.
