It's currently in the early stages but animation has been discussed.

Popular streamer Guy ‘Dr DisRespect’ Beahm IV is going to make a TV series with Skybound Entertainment, according to a new report by The Hollywood Reporter.

The Twitch personality has signed a deal with the production company behind The Walking Dead to create a narrative scripted series on how the two-time champion became the doctor. Although the format of the show has not yet been decided, Beahm’s eyeing “world domination” with the show, which could possibly expand into comics or games.

“There are lots of incredibly talented streamers, but there’s something special about what Guy has done in creating this character,” Skybound co-founder and president David Alpert tells The Hollywood Reporter. “We really believe there’s a unique world around the doctor.”

The show is still very much in the early stages and does not yet have a network. Beahm and co are also ironing out creative details at the moment, although he’s confirmed that animation has been discussed.

Although other streamers have made money by moving to new platforms, such as Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek moving to Mixer, the Doc has settled on expanding his horizons elsewhere.

But don’t worry, he’s not going anywhere. Dr DisRespect will continue to stream on Twitch, and if you’re lucky, he might even let you in to more secrets about the show’s development in due course.
