Tennis star Nick Kyrgios wants to play Warzone with Dr Disrespect

This is a team we'd love to see

The bad boy of the tennis world Nick Kyrgios has been getting into streaming of late, playing Call of Duty: Warzone on Twitch in front of his fans. However, it appears the tennis player has some pretty big livestreaming ambitions that include playing Warzone with the one and only Guy ‘DrDisrespect‘ Beahm.

The tennis player fired his shot over to the two-time last night, asking Dr Disrespect if he’d like to “run some games.” A couple of tweets later, and a guarantee that the star could return the Doc’s 150mph serve, and it sounds like a stream could be on the cards.

There’s only one problem: Dr Disrespect can’t go anywhere near Twitch. After he was permanently banned from the platform in June 2020, the Doc moved over to YouTube Gaming. Since then, no other Twitch streamer has been able to stream themselves teaming up with him.

Twitch’s guidelines state that “if a banned user appears in a third party channel while being suspended, this could cause the ban of the channel they appear in”, so Kyrgios is out of luck there. Timothy ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar, a close friend to the two-time, also claimed recently that he wasn’t allowed to play with the Doc off-stream either, which throws a spanner in the works.

However, that claim isn’t backed up by anything in the guidelines, so if that’s not the case and Kyrgios doesn’t mind jumping ship for a day, we’d love to see the bad boy of tennis team up with the bad boy of the streaming world.

It’ll certainly serve up some ace entertainment.
