Dr DisRespect reveals concept art for the Modern Warfare map he’s designed

After revealing earlier this month that he was working on creating a 2v2 map for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Guy ‘Dr DisRespect’ Beahm gave his fans a new look today at what his map could look like.

After previously showing off a blocked out base for his level, which was designed with Modern Warfare’s new 2v2 Gunfight mode in mind, the Doc teased a fully coloured concept art on October 21 which gives an insight into what the aesthetics for the map might look like.

The single piece of concept art, which had been drawn up for him by his illustrator and graphic designer Thorsten Denk, pictures an Eastern-inspired setting inside a high-ceilinged room with a glass roof. Red banners flow down from above and on the ground level there are plants and water features surrounding the bridge that intersects the middle of the map. The design shows a real attention to detail and the layout of the map provides multiple angles and heights at which you can attack your enemies from.

Before becoming a full-time streamer, Dr DisRespect actually worked as a level designer on the Advanced Warfare Call of Duty title and helped create some of the game’s most loved maps, such as Ascend and Solar.

The fast-approaching release of Modern Warfare has really captivated the Doc, despite him primarily being a battle royale streamer. Not only has he began designing his own maps, he has also proposed hosting his own 2v2, cross-platform tournament and teased that his channel’s first ever 24 hour livestream may be on the cards for the game’s launch.

Whether we’ll ever get to see a finished version of the Doc’s creation remains to be seen. However, there’s no denying that the new CoD has really sparked some extra creativity and passion within the streamer that his fans are really enjoying.
