Dr DisRespect says he’ll never play Apex Legends again

"I've never gravitated to this game."

In one of his trademark rants, Guy ‘Dr DisRespect’ Beahm has said he’ll likely never play Respawn’s battle-royale Apex Legends again.

Dr Disrespect made the comments mid-stream of the free-to-play battle royale, first stating that he has zero interest in the game before going on to explain his reasoning. As the popular streamer puts it, he enjoyed his time a little bit when Apex Legends launched back in early 2019, but has since grown weary of the standard structure a round of the shooter tends to take.

“Now that I know what every single fight is like, and you can’t hit the one shot,” He says. “I’ve never gravitated to this game, I never have. And I’m not going to sit here and complain to you guys about it, I’m not going to scream and yell all day and all night.” He goes on to say he knows how he thinks, before guaranteeing that he’ll never play Apex Legends after that stream, which took place on March 9, explaining that it’s just who he is.

Known for occasionally going off-kilter, The Doc delivered some passionate comments on Overwatch’s heroes and AI last week, and critiqued on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s aim assist the week before that.

This isn’t the first time he’s ostensibly quit the battle royale – he uninstalled the game back in mid-February. From the sounds of it, he’s becoming aware of the cycle and may really mean it this time.
