With Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order having received next-gen updates following its launch in November 2019, we’re now looking forward to the sequel and what the future holds for Cal Kestis and the Jedi Order. Here’s everything we know about the rumoured Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 release date and what’s next for the Star Wars Jedi series.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 release date rumours

At the moment, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 does not have a release date from EA. The publisher has confirmed that the next game in the Star Wars Jedi series is already in development with Stig Asmussen returning as game director for the project.

Jeff Grubb has claimed that we should “hear about [Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2] in a significant way” before 2022’s Summer Games Fest, which is expected to take place in mid-June. Current rumours suggest that it will appear at Star Wars Celebration on May 26, 2022.

In an investor presentation, EA also listed a “major IP” set to release sometime between January 2023 and March 2023. This is reportedly Jedi Fallen Order 2, which is called Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, according to Jeff Grubb.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 platforms

EA has yet to confirm the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 platforms. It is likely, though, that we will see this title released simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

At the moment, we don’t know whether the game will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles – a rumour does say that it will not be released on last-generation consoles.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 gameplay

We haven’t seen any gameplay for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 yet – however, EA has confirmed that the Star Wars Jedi series will be continuing as an action-adventure game.

Therefore, we’re expecting the core aspects of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2’s gameplay to be similar to the original game.

Well, that’s all there is to know about the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 release date right now. Respawn is keeping its cards close to its chest, but if the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is anything like the original then we’re in for another fantastic adventure.
