After he announced his own free agency earlier this month, Team Vitality has officially confirmed the departure of Scottish teenager Kyle ‘Scrub Killa’ Robertson from their Rocket League roster.
Scrub Killa, who helped guide Vitality to a world championship title in RLCS Season 7 and a second place finish the season after, will be replaced by another exciting prospect in 16-year-old French player Yanis ‘Alpha’ Champenois, who joins from Team SoloMid. The signing of Alpha means that Vitality now has an all-French lineup heading into RLCS Season 9, with the youngster competing alongside Alexandre ‘Kaydop’ Courant and Victor ‘Fairy Peak!’ Locquet.
While Scrub Killa is yet to confirm which team he is moving to, his profile picture on Twitch has recently changed to a stock image of a mouse, which appears to hint at a move to another European team, Mousesports. Mousesports are currently without a third member on its roster after the departure of Linus ‘Al0t’ Mollergren earlier this month.
Also thanks to @TeamVitality for letting me play under your name it was an honour and simply an amazing organisation to work with!

After the confirmation of Scrub Killa’s departure, the Scot tweeted that it was an “honour” to represent Vitality, and coach Mike ‘Gregan’ Ellis said he would “never forget Season 7” where the team won its first championship.
RLCS Season 9 kicks off for European teams on February 2.
