PS Plus has had a really good 2022 and last month’s lineup was one of the best so far. But, what can we expect from the PS Plus September 2022 free games?
Well, the first thing to accept is that the Essential lineup isn’t as good this month as August’s was incredible. But, there could still be one PS5 game or one PS4 that really takes your fancy. While two games are included, there will also be a game from the Extra and Premium library of titles that is given to Essential members as well.

The PS Plus September 2022 free games for the Essential tier have been revealed and are:
- TOEM – PS5
- Need For Speed Heat – PS4
- Granblue Fantasy Versus – PS4

The PS Plus September 2022 Predictions for free games from us are as follows:
- Circus Electrique – PS5, PS4
- Aeterna Noctis – PS4
- The Crew 2 – PS4
Circus Electrique (PS5, PS4) – Essential
Launching on September 6, our guess is that Circus Electrique from pinball wizards Zen Studios will lead the lineup. The narrative-driven tactical RPG is set in a world where Londoners have turned into vicious killers and the circus’ lineup of strongmen, clowns, and other performers work together to save the city.
More than a dozen playable archetypes are available as you engage in the unique battle system and grow your characters’ stats over time.
Aeterna Noctis (PS4) – Essential
Our second title is Aeterna Noctis, a beautiful and challenging hand-drawn platformer with 16 interconnected areas to work your way through and explore.
Highly rated, the game tasks you with taking on various bosses as you are stuck in an endless war that cycles over and over again.
The Crew 2 (PS4) – Essential
The Crew 2 ends our predictions as it just got a PS5 60 FPS update while ensuring its open-world freeform racing remains strong! This is our choice for the Extra and Premium game that will be given to Essential members this month.
Taking the air, riding by car, driving a motorcycle, or cruising a boat are all possibilities with the game’s flexible vehicle system allowing you to switch between them at a button press. And, with half a decade of updates, there is more than enough to keep you busy!
