The PS Plus July 2024 line-up has been revealed, and both PS4 and PS5 players will be able to revel in the trio of games coming to the service.

PlayStation has announced its PS Plus July line-up, and while it’s pretty meh for the most part, hockey fans will at least be able to make a steal with NHL 24 joining the service across all three tiers. From July 2, Oilers fans will be able to rewrite history without having to spend a penny extra on PS4 and PS5.

If you liked NHL 23, then this year’s sports game is very much more of the same. As with most annual releases, you’re only getting iterative improvements. Nonetheless, the new Vision Passing mechanic is a fantastic addition that adds some much-appreciated precision to that area of the game.

Alongside NHL 24, PlayStation’s adding Borderlands 3 and Among Us – both of which are available on PS4 and PS5. While not the strongest installment in the iconic looter shooter series, Borderlands 3 remains a solid way to spend time with a pal – I have many fond memories of playing the co-op game series with friends. Among Us, meanwhile, is a bit of a cop-out, I can’t lie. Though it’s nice to see the hit multiplayer game become a free option for subs, Among Us is only five bucks on the PS Store – hardly a huge value proposition.

If you’re a Genshin Impact enjoyer then you’re also in for a treat this month. From July 16 you’ll be able to snag a new PS Plus pack, which grants you the following goodies:

  • Primogems × 160
  • Fragile Resin × 4
  • Hero’s Wit × 20
  • Mystic Enhancement Ore × 30
  • Mora × 150,000

While it’s only a single wish’s worth of Primos, you take what you can when it comes to the gacha-infused RPG game. Speaking of taking what you can, don’t forget to add June’s games – SpongeBob Squarepants The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever and Streets of Rage 4 – to your library before they expire on July 1.
