PS Plus April 2023 Free Games: A character can be seen

PS Plus has been consistently delivering a strong lineup of games since the launch of the PS5, and we don’t expect that to change in April 2023. But, what can you expect from this month’s lineup and what three games are available for everyone as a part of the PS Plus April 2023 free games lineup?

Below you can find a roundup of everything we have seen and heard about this month’s lineup as well as the games, once Sony has confirmed them. In addition, you can also see our three predictions for what we thought could be included in the PS Plus lineup on both PS5 and PS4.

PS Plus April 2023 free games

The PS Plus April 2023 free games for PS4 and PS5 have been partly announced, and they are:

  • Meet Your Maker – PS5, PS4

The remaining PS Plus free games for April have yet to be announced, and won’t be until the final Wednesday of March. We will update this guide with them once we have them.

Meet Your Maker is a post-apocalyptic building and raiding game featuring player-designed levels and will be available on day 1 as one of the PS Plus April 2023 free games.

Our predictions for the month were:

  • Riders Republic – PS5, PS4
  • Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires – PS5, PS4
  • Kingdom Come Deliverance – PS4

Our first pick is the incredibly fun and enjoyable Riders Republic. Set in a vast open world, you can pick and choose from a variety of extreme sports to partake in and explore with your friends or on your own. While it hasn’t been the hottest live service since its release, the game still builds upon what Steep was able to deliver and offers an extreme sports thrill ride unlike anything else on the market.

Next up on our list is Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires, an expanded and enhanced version of the Musou title that offers a variety of changes. These include removing the open world and bringing the series back to a more focused, smaller scale within stages, alongside a host of performance enhancements and upgrades, particularly for PS5.

Finally, five years on from its initial release, we reckon we will see Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come Deliverance hit the service and become available for Essential subscribers. The historically accurate RPG was incredibly well received upon launch and now offers up a ton of DLC to expand upon the epic adventure set in the Holy Roman Empire.
