The PS Plus April 2022 free games have been revealed, offering another three games for subscribers to get their hands on. This is split into two PS4 games and one PS5 game for subscribers.
Sony has consistently done a great job of making solid or great PS5 games available with its service. And, despite two big releases on the first Tuesday of April, we don’t think Sony will be giving either of them away, instead delving into the backlog of PS5 titles released last year, that maybe didn’t get the spotlight they deserved. However, the PS4 titles could make up for that. Despite a PS Plus revamp being announced, those changes will not be implemented in April.
In this guide, we will touch on any rumours about this month’s games and any leaks that have emerged. So, continue reading for everything we know about the PS Plus April 2022 free games.

PS Plus April 2022 Predictions
Ahead of the April 2022 PS Plus game announcement, we predicted the games for the month, which you can see below:
- Lemnis Gate – PS5, PS4
- Cuphead – PS4
- Empire of Sin – PS4
Lemnis Gate (PS5, PS4)
Lemnis Gate is a unique turn-based FPS that released late last year. Praised for its snappy gameplay, unique combat possibilities, and one-of-a-kind premise, the game unfortunately has struggled to maintain a following since its launch.
Battling against other players and watching as the battlefield becomes more and more hectic as multiple ghosts of your lives happen in realtime is a spectacle and will hopefully help bring some life to the game and its community.
Cuphead [PS4)
The now iconic Cuphead has almost become a household name, with loveable characters and even its own Netflix show. However, despite that, the game is tough as nails.
Brutal bosses, intense encounters, and relentless difficulty all make the game what it is and with The Delicious Last Course DLC on the way in June, this will be a great time for Studio MDHR to get as many people interested as possible.
Empire Of Sin (PS4)
Finally, Empire of Sin launched to scathing reviews in December 2020, but since then the experience has steadily improved and introduced new mechanics and features.
Pitting you as one of almost a dozen crime bosses, you work to build a criminal empire during the prohibition era of America using strategy, tactical combat, and confrontations with the many other crime bosses in the city.
