Obsidian has just showcased its new upcoming RPG from Josh Sawyer which is a fresh and unique kind of experience for the studio drawing upon its indie game roots and producing something smaller and more bite-size. And, this new RPG Pentiment got a launch window of November 2022 for Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass.
The old-fashioned illustration look is gorgeous and it appears to be a unique narrative-adventure experience for Obsidian and features cryptic puzzles and dialogue choices that can shape your playthrough.
This smaller project from Obsidian is the fourth game the studio has in the works, alongside Avowed, The Outer Worlds 2, and their survival game Grounded. Josh Sawyer, a well-respected developer who is loved for his work leading the development of Fallout New Vegas and numerous Pillars of Eternity games and titles from Obsidian.

This new game from Obsidian looks like a great mix of Disco Elysium and The Forgotten City with its style and story. Overall, we are excited to get our hands on it.
