Refunds for Sinatraa’s OWL MVP skin available following allegations

The player has also been suspended pending further investigation

The Overwatch League has announced that, following allegations of sexual abuse against former San Francisco Shock player Jay ‘Sinatraa’ Won, it will be offering a 200 League Token refund for the ‘Alien’ Zarya MVP skin to anyone who requests one. The skin was originally created to honor Sinatraa’s achievements back in the 2019 season.

The league has also stated that, once the refunds have been granted, the skin will be removed from its collection. Additionally, “Overwatch League Championship and MVP badges will be removed” from the skin for those who still own it in “a future patch.”

Sinatraa, who made the switch from Overwatch to Valorant last year, has been accused of sexual abuse by an ex-partner in a nine-page document. The allegation has prompted Riot Games and Sinatraa’s current team Sentinels to suspend the player pending investigation ahead of this weekend’s Valorant Champions Tour Masters event.

The player has since offered a brief response to the allegations, claiming his innocence while also stating that he is “fully cooperating with the investigations”.

With Sinatraa suspended for this weekend’s VCT Masters event, it is currently unclear who Sentinels will be drafting in to take his place.
