October Prime Gaming rewards turn Nasus into a meme for LoL Worlds

A brand new, meme-inspired League of Legends emote for LoL Worlds 2022 is among the October Prime Gaming rewards and free games lineup

October Prime Gaming rewards: League of Legends champion Nasus prepares to attack

The October Prime Gaming rewards and free games lineup has been revealed, and while League of Legends fans are already used to getting some monthly goodies from their Prime subscription, they’ll be getting a little something extra this month as we gear up for LoL Worlds 2022 in North America.

Alongside this month’s regular offering of a Prime Gaming Capsule, League of Legends fans will be able to claim the bespoke in-game emote ‘Very Nasus, Much Wow’ between October 18 (a few days before the start of the knockout stage) and November 5 (the LoL Worlds final). Judging by the name, the new emote should see the dog-like champion Nasus get the internet meme treatment, referencing the classic doge memes.

You’ll be able to claim the new Nasus emote from the official LoL Esports website during that period, or you’ll be able to grab it via the official broadcast of LoL Worlds through certain placements.

It’s not just memey emotes on offer this month for Prime subscribers either, as another load of games will be able to be downloaded for free. These include Fallout 76, Total War: Warhammer II, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, and more.

There are also the usual in-game cosmetic and currency rewards for games like Apex Legends, Destiny 2, Fall Guys, and many more.

While some may have hoped to see some FIFA 23 goodies in there to coincide with the game’s imminent full launch, you might have to wait until next month for that – luckily, players are already finding ways to get some easy free FIFA 23 packs in-game, so fear not.
