The Iron Giant is one of the fighters available in Player First Games’ free-to-play fighting game MultiVersus – and he’s huge, as you can imagine. As one of the only ‘colossus’ characters in the game, he’s unique in more ways than one. His hit box is understandably quite large, but he can also hit multiple opponents with ease. Like the sound of that? Here’s the best MultiVersus Iron Giant combos out there – it’s important to know how he works if you want to master his moveset.

In MultiVersus, this mechanical marvel can deal a lot of damage to opponents with the right chained attacks – and expert players can get quite a few ring-outs by throwing his massive hands around. However, like every other fighter in this game, he’s tough to master. That’s why we’ve thrown together some of the best MultiVersus Iron Giant combos below.

We know he’s not too high on our MultiVersus tier list, but keep reading for a handful of chained moves that you can make the most of while you continue to master some of the more unique attacks this fighter offers players.

MultiVersus Iron Giant combos

If you’re looking to master Iron Giant in Player First Games’ fighting game, you’re going to need to keep an eye on positioning and where your opponents are. Other than that, though, you need to know which moves to chain together. With that in mind, thanks to fighting game content creators like ‘Nyle‘, here are the best MultiVersus Iron Giant combos:

  • Air Launch Side Combo – Ground Attack (Down), Ground Attack (Up), Jump, Air Attack (Side), Air Special (Side)
  • Upwards High Damage Ring Out Combo – Jump, Air Attack (Down), Jump, Air Attack (Neutral), Air Special (Down)
  • Air Juggle Combo – Jump, Air Attack (Down), Air Special (Down), Ground Attack (Up), Ground Attack (Up), Ground Attack (Side)
  • Grab and Go Combo – Ground Special (Side), Move Side, Ground Special (Side), Ground Attack (Side), Ground Attack (Side)

Air Launch Side Combo

Iron Giant is a bit of a weird one. A lot of his quick combos are quite a lot shorter than you might expect. However, that’s mainly because of the knockback a lot of his attacks offers. It can be hard to string long chains of attacks together, but that does mean the below is an example of a short and sweet attack combo that you can make good use of.

  • Input on PlayStation: Left stick down + square button, left stick up + square button, X button, left stick side + square button, left stick side + triangle button
  • Input on Xbox: Left stick side + X button, left stick up + X button, A button, left stick side + X button, left stick side + Y button
  • Input on PC: A/D key + J key, W key + J key, space, A/D key + J key, A/D key + K key

Upwards High Damage Ring Out Combo

Sitting in front of an opponent with high damage? Well, Iron Giant has a short little combo that can make use of that. You might need to reposition slightly while you’re making moves, but as long as you make sure you’re landing all the hits (which is something you need to be doing with almost every combo), you should get an easy ring-out.

  • Input on PlayStation: X button, left stick down + square button, X button, square button, left stick down + triangle button
  • Input on Xbox: A button, left stick down + X button, A button, X button, left stick down + Y button
  • Input on PC: Space, S key + J key, space, J key, S key + K key

Air Juggle Combo

Despite Iron Giant’s towering height, there aren’t many moves that can actually launch your opponents into the air. However, that doesn’t mean he can’t do a little bit of juggling. This combo will keep your opponent in the air taking damage and the fact that it doesn’t launch them too highly means it can be chained into another combo soon after.

  • Input on PlayStation: X button, left stick down + square button, left stick down + triangle button, left stick up + square button, left stick up + square button, left stick side + square button
  • Input on Xbox: A button, left stick down + X button, left stick down + Y button, left stick up + X button, left stick up + X button, left stick side + X button
  • Input on PC: Space, S key + J key, S key + K key, W key + J key, W key + J key, A/D key + J key

 Grab and Go Combo

One thing that makes Iron Giant one of the few, in MultiVersus anyway, is that he can grab and move with opponents or allies in hand. If you want to make the most of this and reposition an enemy on whichever one of the MultiVersus maps and stages you’re fighting on, this is the perfect combo for you.

  • Input on PlayStation: Left stick side + triangle button, left stick side, left stick side + triangle button, left stick side + square button, left stick side + square button
  • Input on Xbox: Left stick side + Y button, left stick side, left stick side + Y button, left stick side + X button, left stick side + X button
  • Input on PC: A/D key + K key, A/D key, A/D key + K key, A/D key + J key, A/D key + J key
