Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is the sequel to Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle turn-based strategy game and is a mash-up of Nintendo’s Mario franchise characters and Ubisoft’s Rabbids, mischievous rabbit-like creatures that were originally in a spinoff of the Rayman series.
Seeing as Sparks of Hope features both normal versions of Nintendo characters and their insane Rabbid counterparts, you might want to see a list of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope characters to tell you more about the kooky cast.
The Loadout has compiled all of the cast – from normal to rabbid – in one place so that you can research who you want in your team when playing Sparks of Hope, and, more importantly, who you want to stay clear of. Could Rabbid Rosalina be work-shy we wonder? Does Rabbid Luigi spook as easily as human Luigi?
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope characters
Here are all ten of the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope characters that we know about:
- Princess Peach
- Rabbid Mario
- Rabbid Luigi
- Rabbid Princess Peach
- Rabbid Rosalina
- Rayman (DLC character)
The Legendary plumber in red needs no introduction. He’s Italian, he jumps, and he’s got a giant moustache. Mario will probably take up a key position in your team and be the star of the story.
The brother of Mario prefers green overalls to red and tends to be the one who spooks easily if his Luigi’s Mansion appearances are anything to go by.
Princess Peach is the queen of the Mushroom Kingdom and constantly needs to be saved from certain doom by Mario. We expect things won’t be much different in Sparks of Hope.
Rabbid Mario shares a likeness with normal Mario in that neither of them can actually speak real sentences, communicating instead in noises and sounds. Rabbid Mario is, however, a Rabbid.
Rabbid Luigi takes up the mantle of mischievous rabbit-thing from his smooth-skinned doppelganger. Rabbid Luigi is more goofy than scared.
Rabbid Princess Peach
Rabbid Princess Peach is a social media star obsessed with taking selfies and making sure she looks good in all circumstances. She is a skilled fighter, however, and can heal her teammates too – just don’t expect her to stop pouting.
Highly educated and cultured, Rabbid Rosalina is perpetually sleepy and has a blasé attitude to what’s going on around her. She’s new for Sparks of Hope though, so we’ll cut her some slack.
The eponymous Edge is a mysterious figure. We don’t know much about Sparks except that if they’re headlining the game, they’ll be important to the story in one way or another. This unknown individual turned up in the trailer to save the day, so we’re speculating this is Sparks for the time being.
Bowser is set to be playable in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and will see the enemy of Mario and the team come to your side to fight the overarching threat.
Rayman will be available as a special guest character with the third DLC for the game. Until then you will just have to wait for him to arrive.
That’s the whole list of all of the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope characters. Read more about Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope release date to see when you can play the turn-based strategy game.
