If you’ve ever thought you should be getting more rewards that are better tailored to your lifestyle than you already do, then you should consider getting a Mana debit card. Mana is launching in the US later this year, and offers up reward points for everything you buy which you can then redeem for video games, gift cards and other gaming gear.

Imagine: you go out for your weekly food shop, put fuel in your card while you’re there, and maybe drop by a drive-thru on the way home for a snack. You pay for all of this with your Mana debit card, earning reward points each time. And when you’re next looking around Amazon for a gaming bargain, you can use those reward points to pick up an Amazon gift card and save yourself some money buying the game that just caught your eye.

The best part is that Mana is free to use, so there’s no cost to you for using the card – just rewards. That said, there is also Mana Pro, which for a yearly fee increases the rewards you earn and grants you a bunch of great bonuses, like three months of PS Plus and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

So that’s the gist of it. Want to know more? Keep reading as we dig into exactly what to expect from a Mana debit card, from how it works to the rewards you can expect.

How does Mana work?

First of all, let’s clear one thing up – Mana is not a bank. The team has partnered with MVB Bank to create a checking account, so you get control over how much money is held there by depositing however much you want when you want to use it. MVB Bank is also an FDIC member, so you can be secure in the knowledge that it isn’t going anywhere other than where you spend it.

You’ll also receive a Visa® debit card which you can use in any shop you like. The card works just like any other debit card you may have, so there’s no new tricks to learn to get spending straight away.

Where is Mana available?

Mana is currently planning on launching in the US only, and is only available to people aged 18 and over.

How do I get rewarded?

You get rewarded literally every time you spend on a Mana debit card. It really is that simple.

There are different levels of rewards depending on how you spend your money. Buying everyday goods from retailers will net you a base level of reward points. You can double those points by spending on the Mana store. And if you use your Mana debit card to pay for your entertainment subscriptions, like Netflix or Xbox Game Pass, you’ll get triple the points.

What can I use the rewards for?

Any points you earn can be spent on the Mana store, which is home to a range of gaming essentials, including gift cards for your favourite digital stores. So you can buy all your regular essentials, then come home and top up your Xbox wallet to pick up a new game.

How much does Mana cost?

Absolutely nothing. You can get a basic Mana debit card account and enjoy all the benefits for no fee. However, Mana Pro does require an annual fee.

What is Mana Pro?

Mana Pro comes with all the benefits of a Mana debit card, but it’s been supercharged to give you even more benefits. The key benefit is that all your reward values are increased – you’ll get triple the points for spending on the Mana store, and five times the points when you use your debit card on entertainment subscriptions.

You’ll also get a raft of bonuses for signing up, including a year of Discord Nitro, three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, three months of PlayStation Plus, and much more. Plus, you’ll get a shiny metal Visa debit card to use.

Mana Pro typically costs $119.95 a year, with $540 worth of benefits. But if you join the waitlist now, you’ll get all the benefits for just $69.95 a year.

And there you have it. Mana couldn’t be simpler – it’s a debit card for gamers. With rewards specifically tailored to your gaming needs, and a heap of extra benefits if you choose to sign up for Mana Pro, you’ll have everything you need to make your gaming life easier and cheaper.

Mana launches in the US in summer 2022. You can sign up for the waitlist now if you live in the US and are 18 or older, and if you sign up for Mana Pro you’ll get all the benefits at a much reduced price. Sign up today and prepare yourself for a rewarding future of gaming.

Mana Checking Account and related banking services provided by MVB Bank, Inc., Member FDIC. Transactional and withdrawal limits apply. Mana Visa (r) Debit Card issued by MVB Bank, Inc., Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Visa terms and conditions apply.
