Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp’s amatuer League of Legends tournament – the Tyler1 Championship Series – will feature a star-studded lineup of casters made up of some well known faces from the LoL and streaming communities.

Tyler1 revealed on Twitter that there will be 18 casters for his tournament, some of whom are also competing in the event, like Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang and Moe ‘Yassuo’ Abdalrhman. Other notable names to the casting lineup include variety streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, former Echo Fox owner Rick Fox, and LCK caster Max ‘Atlus’ Anderson.

The Tyler1 Championship Series will see 16 teams compete for a share of a $50,000 prize pool. There will be a playoff weekend starting tomorrow, December 14 through until December 15, with the finals being played the weekend after on December 21. The tournament is expected to be massively popular, especially with the stacked lineup of casting talent. You can see all the talent for the Tyler1 Championship Series below.

The tournament sees influencers in the LoL community compete alongside amateur players who are relatively high up the League of Legends ranks but aren’t signed to pro teams.

As we’ve come to expect from anything associated with Tyler1, there are some rather obscure team names in the mix such as ‘Washed Up & Random’, ‘Fraga’s Baby Yodas’, and ‘Hipgrabbers/ Monster Kittenz’.

You can watch all the action on Twitch, through either Tyler1’s channel or on some of the competitors channels.
