League of Legends patch 13.6 to bring fresh Yuumi nerfs

The League of Legends patch 13.6 notes seek to contain the power of the bot lane, while Riot Games drops follow-up nerfs after Yuumi's rework.

League of Legends patch 13.6 Yuumi nerfs: Bewitching Yuumi

The League of Legends patch 13.6 preview is here, and Runeterra’s most dislikable cat is set to be nerfed. That’s right, Riot Games is once again nerfing Yuumi after the magical cat’s post-rework state proved too mighty for the Rift.

According to Summoner’s Rift team lead Matt ‘Phroxzon’ Leung-Harrison, the studio plans to nerf Yuumi’s “anti-burst (testing only armour on R and less resists) and Q hittability” in the upcoming League of Legends update. Aside from Yuumi, Aurelion Sol, Veigar, and Zeri are all in line to receive a love tap from the nerf hammer.

Phroxzon also says that nerfs are coming to the “power of early dragons and some AD items”, which should take away some of the bot priority we’ve been seeing since the crit changes came in. We can see that Bloodthirster and Navori Quickblades are on the chopping block.

But it’s not all nerfs in patch 13.6. Ashe (ADC), Galio, Talon, and Vayne are all set to be buffed, while Nashor’s Tooth will also get a boost. You can check out the LoL patch 13.6 preview below.

Though the patch was slated to kick off the Mid-Season Invitational updates ahead of this year’s tournament, it certainly looks like a more muted update than some have anticipated. For now, we’ll just have to see how the changes land.
