Riot Games has finally dropped the most important details surrounding the 2023 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational in London: whereabouts in the English capital LoL MSI 2023 being held, and when fans will finally be able to get their mitts on tickets.
According to a fresh press release, the full LoL MSI 2023 location is the Copper Box Arena, London. This will certainly be a familiar name for Apex Legends esports fans, who recently witnessed Team SoloMid win ALGS Split 1 in that very venue.
Having originally been built for the London 2012 Olympics, Copper Box Arena – located in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park – has since become a bit of a hotspot for esports events in the city. Boasting a capacity of 7,500, we can imagine this year’s event will be of similar scale to MSI 2019’s Knockout Stage, which was held in Taipei’s ~7,000 cap Heping Basketball Gymnasium.
Here is the full breakdown of dates for each stage of the competition:
- Play-In Stage: May 2-7, 2023
- Bracket Stage: May 9-14, 2023
- Final: May 21, 2023
But what about LoL MSI 2023 tickets? Well, from 02:00 PST / 05:00 EST / 10:00 GMT on February 23, fans can snag their tickets – which range in price from £24 to £94 – from the MSI AXS page. Mastercard holders will be able to secure theirs earlier, with a presale taking place at the same time on February 21.
