We knew at the start of this year that we’d be getting two new League of Legends champions in a big summer event. After what seems like weeks of teasers and community posts, Lillia, the Bashful Bloom, has been unveiled.
The magical fawn was unveiled earlier today by Riot Games in a new champion teaser, which shows off her look and lovely Scottish accent. It also suggests we’ll see her join the Summoner’s Rift with the Spirit Blossom Festival on July 22.
According to her new biography page, Lillia “helps people’s dreams be born, drawn forward by glimpses of who they could be, and by what may be trapped beneath their tangles.” She hopes that “by helping humans realise their deepest wishes” she can find her own forgotten dream.
Unfortunately neither her biography or her champion teaser reveals much about her kit, but there are repeated references to sleeping and dreaming, so expect that to come in play somewhere.

Mark Yetter, the lead gameplay designer for League of Legends, also says on Twitter that her kit is “clean and simple in its design, but her pattern is very unique and nuanced” which should make her difficult to master.
So if you’re looking for a new jungle champion to master, Lillia might be for you.
