After totting up the votes from across EU’s ecosystem – from players to press – the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) has announced its 2022 Summer Regular Split All-Pro teams.
Taking the lion’s share of the votes is, well, the MAD Lions. Four out of the five All-Pro First Team spots have been taken up by Javier ‘Elyoya’ Batalla, Yasin ‘Nisqy’ Dinçer, William ‘UNF0RGIVEN’ Nieminen, and Norman ‘Kaiser’ Kaiser after the team’s form picked up dramatically from the Spring Split. The final spot goes to G2 Esports’ Sergen ‘Broken Blade’ Çelik.
Heading into the Second All-Pro Team, then, we have Vitality’s Barney ‘Alphari’ Morris, Rogue’s Markos ‘Comp’ Stamkopoulos, and G2 trio Marcin ‘Jankos’ Jankowski, Rasmus ‘caPs’ Winther, and Raphaël ‘Targamas’ Crabbé.
Finally, Rogue’s Andrei ‘Odoamne’ Pascu and Adrian ‘Trymbi’ Trybus, Misfits Gaming’s Vincent ‘Vetheo’ Berrié and Matúš ‘Neon’ Jakubčík, and Excel Esports’ Mark ‘Markoon’ van Woensel have secured their places in the Third All-Pro side.
The voting this time round has been ridiculously close, and is quite possibly one of the tightest competitions in LEC history. You can check out the full voting breakdown right here.
While the Regular Season may be over, teams still have to duke it out to secure that all-important LoL Worlds spot when the 2022 LEC Summer Playoffs kick off on August 26.
