Gran Turismo 7 Reviews: Two cars can be seen in the Gran Turismo 7 key art

Gran Turismo 7 is about to turn the last development corner and reach the finish line with its release on March 4. But ahead of Friday, the first batch of critic reviews are out and praise the racer for getting back on track after the rocky entry that was Gran Turismo Sport.

Polygon describes the series as “ageing gracefully”, while PlayStation Lifestyle says the game hits the mark with “the sights, the sounds, the physics, and the animations of real-world driving and real-world racing”.

PushSquare also elaborates calling it “a game for everyone: the racing enthusiasts, the novices, and everyone in between.” They also highlighted the game’s celebration of car culture and how it offers up details of how the vehicles you drive played a part in the wider world in the past. However, not everyone is as positive with VGC giving it three stars out of five and not liking the game’s deep dives on vehicles and the  “clunky menus” you have to navigate.
